FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup: Nigeria Vs Germany – Date, Time, Where To Watch

Nigeria’s U-20 women’s national team, the Falconets, are preparing to take on Germany in their second group match of the 11th FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

In their opening game, the Falconets earned a hard-fought 1-0 win against Korea Republic at Estadio El Techo in Bogotá, Colombia, on Sunday night.

Flourish Sabastine’s decisive goal in the 86th minute secured the victory in a closely contested Group D clash.

Following the win, the Falconets’ head coach expressed confidence in the team’s ability to perform even better in their upcoming match against Germany, as reported by FIFA.com.

“It was a tough match, being the first match. The victory is sweet because it puts your foot in the group,” Danjuma stated.

“My team performed well, but I know we’re going to perform much, much, much better than this.”

In the other fixture, Germany defeated Venezuela 5-2 to top the group.

This will be the fifth encounter between the two nations, with Nigeria still searching for their first win against Germany in the competition, having lost in the finals in 2010 and 2014.
