Fire disaster averted in Ogun

Operational Firefighters of Ogun State fire Services has successfully averted an ugly fire incident at Enugada Roundabout, along Lafenwa, Abeokuta Ogun State, on Sunday 17th October 2021, where a Mack Truck with Commercial registration Number plate T-2176 LA, laden with 40,000 PMS capsized.


The tanker which accidentally capsized at the roundabout was reportedly said to be coming from lafenwa for a U-turn at Enugada roundabout before it capsized on the process.


A distress call was then put through to the Ijemo Fire Station of Ogun State Fire Service at about 0600 hours (6:00 AM), and our men led by FO-I Bada responded swiftly to the scene.
However, normalcy has gradually returned to the axis at the time of filing this report.
