The Nigerian Army Depot in Zaria, Kaduna State, has been gutted by fire.
Several properties were said to have been destroyed in the inferno.
The real cause of the fire outbreak is still unknown at the moment but sources said firemen are currently sweating it out to put out the inferno.
The depot is used by the army for the training of recruits.
According to witnesses, the fire started on Saturday midnight and affected the Block 15 of the soldiers quarters.
