Traders at the popular market, Oja Tuntun in Ile-Ife are still counting losses following a midnight fire that gut shops on Wednesday.
This is coming after another fire incident 8 months razed down the market destroying goods and valuables in the new market.
It was gathered that on Wednesday the fire engulfed the market around midnight after it started from a section of the market.
Some traders who got to the scene early started salvaging their goods from the building. The men of Osun State Fire Service was alerted to put off the fire.
The cause of the fire was not yet known as at the time of filing this report.
One of the traders identified as Ojuolape Ojogeade who spoke with our correspondent bemoaned the incident.
