Fire Service Recruitment: FG releases final list of successful candidates

The federal government has released the final list of successful candidates for recruitment into the Federal Fire Service (FFS). Ja’afaru Ahmed, the Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), made the announcement in a statement on Saturday.

Starting Monday, 9th December 2024, applicants can visit the CDCFIB recruitment portal to check their status. Successful candidates are advised to print their invitation letters once they confirm their status.

“The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board wishes to inform all candidates who applied for recruitment into the Federal Fire Service to visit our portal at cdcfib.career from Monday, 9th December 2024, to check if they were successful in the final stage of recruitment and print their invitation letter,” Ahmed stated.

He further explained that the final documentation process will take place at the Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau Conference Centre, within the headquarters of the Nigerian Correctional Service in Abuja, from 9th to 21st December.

Successful candidates have been urged to attend the final screening on the date specified in their invitation letters, bringing both originals and photocopies of their credentials.

“Applicants are required to come in white tops and shorts and bring both original and photocopied credentials. It is important that candidates attend the screening on the date indicated in their invitation letter and strictly follow all instructions provided,” Ahmed added.

The recruitment process, which began in December 2023, is now reaching its final stages.
