Several shops at a popular Jos road auto spare parts market in Oriapata Area of Kaduna State have been gutted by fire.
According to eyewitnesses, the fire began in the early hours of Friday.
Although the cause is yet to be ascertained, traders and residents of the area told Channels Television that the inferno started from one of the shops and eventually spread to nearby shops.
Also in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, goods worth millions of naira were destroyed following a fire incident that gutted a market in the Mile 3 Diobu Area.
While the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, over 10 shops are said to have been burnt down.
