Nigerian music sensation, Adedamola Adefolahan, known professionally as Fireboy DML has been spotted with ace American singer, songwriter, and actress Madonna on the set of her new music video.
Reports gathered by TheNiche suggest the 26-year-old will appear in Madonna’s soon-to-be-released music video ‘Frozen’ remix.
However, it remains uncertain if he will be singing alongside the veteran musician in the remix or would just be making an appearance
Fireboy DML took the music industry by storm when he featured English star and multiple award-winner, Ed Sheeran in the remix of his popular song, ‘Peru’ last year
The remix got international recognition and topped different music charts after it was released in December 2021.
Fireboy DML who is currently on a US tour is signed to YBNL Nation, a record label founded by another Nigerian rapper Olamide.
His debut studio album ‘Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps’ was released in 2019. He went on to win Listener’s Choice and his song ‘Jealous ‘ was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2020 Soundcity MVP Awards Festiva.
He recently featured in Reekado Banks’ remix of ‘ Ozumba Mbadiwe’, which mixed Afropop and Amapiano into a joyful sound that is making waves globally.
