First Lady, Dr Mrs Eunice Ortom distributes 120 wheelchairs to PLWD, praises George Alli

The First Lady of Benue State and Founder of Eunice Spring of Life Foundation, (ESLF), Dr Mrs Eunice Ortom, on Wednesday, distributed 120 tricycle wheelchairs to PLWD in Makurdi and showered praises on the Executive Chairman of Otukpo LG, Rt. Hon. George Alli, in Makurdi

Dr. Mrs Ortom, during the presentation of the wheelchairs donated by Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Center, Jos, (one of the foundation’s partners) at the Chapel of Grace, Benue Peoples House, Makurdi to beneficiaries from various parts of the state, said ESLF, since in her inception in 2016, has worked with several partners in the state, national and global levels towards the inclusion of people with disabilities in its programs in line with provisions of the Sustainable Development Goals.

The First Lady, expressed her appreciation to Chief Ayuba Gufwan for his efforts in improving the lives of people across the country and Otukpo council chairman, Hon. George Alli, who introduced the foundation to him and also facilitated the donation. She also thanked Hon. Alli for all he does as a worthy Ambassador of the foundation.

In his goodwill message, The Otukpo Council Chairman, Hon. Alli appreciated Dr. Mrs Ortom and her foundation for the numerous programmes and outreaches they have been extending to many people in Benue state and prayed God to continue to uplift her and her foundation. He also thanked Mr. Ayuba Gufwan and Dr. (Mrs) Grace Ogwuche and Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Center for their tireless support for people living with disabilities.
