Flood wreaks havoc in Ogbomoso, buildings, properties submerged

Several houses have been submerged following severe flooding in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

Reports indicate that heavy rainfall occurred in parts of Ogbomoso between Wednesday and Thursday morning, leading to the overflow of the Ora River, which flows through the eastern part of the city.

The flood affected areas such as Isale Ora and Aduinin. Among the damaged properties were a Cherubim and Seraphim church and a wooden store used for selling planks near the riverbank, both of which were completely submerged.

Several other properties were also impacted by the flood
