There is pandemonium this evening at Orokam, Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State as local vigilantes in the area and some brave youths of the community chased the kidnappers and rescued the kidnapped victim.
According to a report by Tom Mosco Idoko, two of the suspected Fulani kidnappers have been arrested by the youths and members of the local vigilante and have been handed over to the Police for further investigation and prosecution.
However, there’s another report that some visibly angry youths from the autonomous community are currently protesting at the Police station in Orokam, insisting that the suspected Fulani kidnappers be handed over to them.
As at the time of filing this report, the situation in Orokam is reportedly volatile.
Please, if you have anyone in Orokam, call and caution them to not take laws into their hands.
