Nigeria’s wealthiest woman, Folorunsho Alakija, and her husband of over 30 years, Modupe Alakija, have reportedly parted ways, as stated in a report by TheWill.
The mother of four and the businessman no longer reside together in their matrimonial home in the upscale area of Ikoyi, Lagos.
Allegedly, the couple had been experiencing frequent disagreements, which led the affluent woman to seek maximum privacy within her home. Consequently, her husband found alternative accommodation nearby and now resides alone in the same Ikoyi neighborhood.
Sources suggest that the couple has faced challenges in recent years, prompting them to maintain a united front due to their prominent status in society, as mentioned in the report.
