Kayode Salako, the husband of actress Foluke Daramola, has confirmed his marriage to Oluwafunke Oyegoke-Salako.
Rumors had circulated earlier that Kayode fathered a child with another woman. In a recent Facebook post, he revealed that Foluke was supportive of his decision to have a child with Oluwafunke.
Kayode explained that despite being married to Foluke for 13 years, the couple had not been able to have biological children. He stated, “It took me three years of pleading with Foluke to allow me to have one or two children in Nigeria to secure my old age, as I’m not impotent.
“Now that I’m over 50, I don’t want to turn 70 without children around me. After many years of marriage, God has not blessed us with a child, but she eventually understood and said I could go ahead.”
He added that their child, Murewa Omowonuola Salako, is the result of this agreement. Oluwafunke has been the subject of speculation among Nigerian bloggers since 2023.
