Football Transfer: Osimhen’s next club revealed

Transfer expert Ben Jacobs has shared insights into Victor Osimhen’s potential destination after leaving Napoli this summer. Jacobs suggests that the Nigerian international is likely to join Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), rather than Chelsea or Arsenal.

Osimhen has attracted interest from various clubs, including the Ligue 1 champions, where he could potentially fill the void left by Kylian Mbappé, who is set to depart in the summer.

Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly keen on strengthening their attacking lineup with the addition of a new striker.

Speaking on CaughtOffside’s The Debrief, Jacobs stated, “Arsenal seems to have an interest in Joshua Zirkzee and Viktor Gyokeres. At this point, it appears less likely that they will aggressively pursue Victor Osimhen. PSG appears to be the more probable destination. However, if Osimhen expresses a desire to join the Premier League and Arsenal enters the fray, they could compete head-to-head. In terms of finances, they might even outpace Chelsea.”

Jacobs also hinted that Chelsea might be cautious due to Premier League Profit and Sustainability Rules and could potentially pass on signing the striker.
