A leading member contender for the House of Representatives for Ado, Okpokwu and Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, Chief Philip Agbese has appealed to Chief Mike Onoja, the Akana K’Idoma to forgive his detractors and remain focused on his efforts for the people of Agila in particular and Nigeria at large.
Chief Agbese stated this during a solidarity visit to the Akanaba Agila in Abuja on Tuesday. He said those wishing the Akanaba Agila death are only envious and jealous of his large political followers hip that cuts across the entire Benue State.
Okanga Agila further pleaded with Chief Mike Onoja to forgive his detractors and focus on his principal objectives as a community leader par excellence.
The Peace advocate further urged Chief Mike Onoja and other illustrious sons of Agila to close ranks and mentor the next generation of Agila sons and daughters in the right direction, as the world is watching the good things that God is about to do in the land.
“ I am using this opportunity to call on all sons and daughters of Agila to close ranks and work together for the unity, peace and development of our community.
Let me also use this opportunity to thank you sir for ensuring that the Ad”Enone stool is given to an Agilaman being the most qualified candidate at the poll that threw up Engineer Ede .
Speaking further, Agbese added that Governor Ortom, his Deputy, Abounu, the Akanaba and all those who play vital role in the enthronement of Chief Ede as Ada” Enone deserve commendations by all Agila sons and daughters for the gesture.
He prayed the Almighty God to grant them long life and prosperity.
Whilst responding, Chief Mike Onoja who described Chief Okanga Philip Agbese as his son said the young man is full of wisdom and intellect and should be supported by all irrespective of primordial sentiment to actualize his dreams.
Chief Onoja said that Okanga has demonstrated to be a true promoter of peace and appreciated the visit whilst promising to forgive all those that must have wronged him.
