The former caretaker chairman of Ado Local Government Area, Comrade James Ogaba Oche, has decried the unending unrests in some communities of Benue State.
IDOMA VOICE observed that several persons have been killed different attacks which rocked some parts of the state.
The worst hit of the crises were: Ukum, katsina-Ala, Buruku, Ushongo, Vandeikya, Makurdi, Gwer-East, Kwande and other places.
Reacting via a terse post on his Facebook wall, Oche called on the warring factions to sheath swords and embrace peace.
His post reads: “I am gravely saddened and consequently perturbed by the plethora of intra state crisis that has rocked my dear state recently. From Ukum, katsina-Ala, Buruku, Ushongo, Vandeikya, Makurdi, Gwer-East, Kwande and other places, the stories are not pleasing. I take this time to, from the debt of my heart, sue for peace and call on the warring factions to sheath swords and embrace peace. It is also my prayer that the good Lord will console the families of the bereaved and grant the dead, eternal rest. Amen.”
