Former Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ishaya Iko Ibrahim is dead.
A reliable source told Solacebase that the 18th Chief of Naval Staff died on Tuesday in Abuja, after a brief illness.
Ishaya Iko Ibrahim was born on 19 September 1952, in Jaba local government area of Kaduna State.
He was flag officer commanding Naval training command and Naval western command before his appointment as Chief of Naval Staff in August 2008.
He Joined the army as a member of the 14th regular course.
