The death has been announced of former Chairman of Idoma National Forum, Engr Okopi Momoh.
His death was announced over the weekend by the National Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Engr (Dr) Olunfumilade Akingbagbohun.
Okopi-Momoh was former Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Society of Engineersa fellow of Nigerian Society of Engineers, NSE and Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers, NIMechE was a former National Chairman of Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers, NIMechE.
Late Momoh was immediate Past Executive Secretary of Nigerian Society of Engineers, NSE which he served between 2018 and 2021.
Engr. Momoh hails from Obotu, Ugboju-icho, Otukpo local government Area, Benue State, He was a well-grounded Mechanical Engineer and a product of the vintage and prestigious Government College, Keffi, and Kaduna Polytechnic.
He holds 2 Masters degrees, the first in Industrial Engineering and Production Management from Cranfield Institute of Technology (now known as Cranfield University), United Kingdom, and another Master’s of Business Administration degree, from Bayero University, Kano, where he also obtained a PhD in Mechanical Engineering in the year 2009.
