Former Ogbadibo LG boss, Adoyi Omale kidnapped

The former caretaker chairman of Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State, Adoyi Omale has been kidnapped by gunmen.

Omale, a native of Ipole Owukpa, was whisked away by men of the underworld along Lokoja – Otukpa road on Monday.
DAILY POST gathered that the kidnappers contacted the family yesterday, demanding for a ransom of N5m.

Speaking with our correspondent, a family source said his phone number had been off since the incident.

The source called on the state government and the relevant security agencies to come to their aid.

“We don’t know where to get N5m from. We are calling on the Benue State government, the police and other security apparatus to come to his rescue,” the family member said.

Meanwhile, the Benue State police command has not responded to our inquiry at the time of this report.
