A former governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party in Benue State, Samuel Ode has defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Ode, who polled 48 votes in the December 8 guber primaries of the PDP, joined the ruling party on Sunday in Otukpo ward three.
IT was gathered that Ode was received by the chairman of the ward, alongside his supporters, numbering over a thousand.
His defection is coming few days after we exclusively reported that the former deputy governor, Steve Lawani has perfected plans to join the party.
Speaking shortly after his defection, Ode said he was tired of the PDP, adding that he had seen the light and was ready to embrace the change.
