Former Super Falcons player Ifeanyichukwu Chiejine is dead

Former Super Falcons player Ifeanyichukwu Chiejine has passed on after a brief illness on Wednesday, August 21, 2019.

Ifeanyi captained the first set of the U19 National Women’s team to the first U19 (Now U20) FIFA Women World Cup in 2002.Chiejine is also the youngest player to play in FIFA Women’s World Cup after featuring for Nigeria against Korea DPR at the age of 16 years and 34 days in 1999.
