Four dead as Ibarapa, Oyo boils again

At least, four persons have lost their lives in a fresh attack on Ibarapa community area of Oyo State.
The Nigerian Police, Oyo State Command on Monday confirmed the killing.

The Spokesperson of the Command, Olugbenga Fadeyi, a Chief Superintendent said the police quickly moved to the scene to remove the corpse.

He added that the corpses were later deposited at Fadok Hospital morgue for autopsy, noting that efforts have been intensified to arrest the perpetrators of the crime.

Fadeyi said in a terse statement “It was reliably gathered that unknown gunmen attacked and killed four men at Kokobido village Diko Ile via Ijio at about 0300 hrs of today 8/3/21.

“The DPO Ijio quickly moved into the scene and removed corpses to Fadok Hospital morgue for autopsy.
“Efforts intensified to arrest the perpetrators of the crime.”
