Four robbery suspects arrested, stolen vehicle recovered

Nasarawa State Police have arrested four individuals suspected of involvement in armed robbery and recovered a stolen vehicle.

According to a statement released on Sunday by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Nasarawa State Police Command, DSP Ramhan Nansel, three suspects—Salim Hussaini, Abdulkadir Musa, and Dimas Danja—were apprehended by officers from the Mararaba ‘A’ Division. A fourth suspect, Mohammed Aliyu Abubakar, was arrested in the New Karu area.

During the operation, law enforcement recovered a fabricated rifle, a knife, and various criminal charms from the suspects. Additionally, a blue Toyota Camry with the registration number RBC 980 DA was seized from Abubakar, a resident of Mabushi, Abuja.

The suspects have reportedly confessed to being members of a notorious gang responsible for a series of robberies in and around the Mararaba area.

The statement added that the Commissioner of Police, CP Umar Shehu Nadada, “has called on the owner of the stolen vehicle to visit New Karu Area Command with proof of ownership to claim the recovered vehicle”.
