Four security officers remanded over murder of Kaduna student

Four members of the Kaduna State Vigilance Service (KADVIS) have been remanded in a correctional facility over the alleged murder of Ahmed Musa, an SS2 student at Government Technical College, Malali, located in the Kaduna North Local Government Area.
The young student was found brutally murdered within the school premises.
Ahmed Musa was killed on February 16, 2025, in a tragic incident that has left his family seeking justice through the courts.
Presiding over the case, Chief Magistrate Naheed Ibrahim Abdulhamid ordered the detention of the four suspects until the next court hearing, scheduled for May 27, 2025.
The accused – Timothy Abba (56), Joseph Ogoni (41), Bulus Adamu (42), and Francis Adamu (48) – were deployed to the school as security personnel. They have been charged with criminal conspiracy and negligence, which prosecutors argue may have contributed to the student’s death.
The case was brought before the Kabala Doki Magistrate Court, where the prosecution alleged that the suspects failed in their duty to prevent or report the crime in a timely manner.
The investigation continues as the court seeks to determine the extent of the suspects’ involvement and the circumstances surrounding the tragic loss of the young student.
