Luton Town has officially confirmed that Fred Onyedinma, the 26-year-old forward, has joined Championship side Rotherham United on a season-long loan. The move comes as part of the player’s quest for more playing time and experience in the competitive English football league.
Onyedinma has been with Luton Town since his arrival at Kenilworth Road in May 2021. During his time with the Hatters, he has made a total of 52 appearances and has shown glimpses of his talent on the field. The forward has scored three goals for Luton Town, including a memorable debut performance against Peterborough United, where he notched a goal and provided two crucial assists.
With Rotherham United finishing 19th in the Championship last season, they are keen on strengthening their squad for the upcoming campaign. The addition of Fred Onyedinma is expected to bolster their attacking options and provide a fresh dynamic to their frontline.
