A tragic incident unfolded on the Nyanya-Maraba Expressway in Abuja, where a driver employed by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) lost their life in a road collision. The fatal incident transpired at the Karu bridge on Friday.
According to an official statement from the FRSC, the crash took place precisely at 04:02 am while their tow truck was in the process of removing a disabled vehicle from the mentioned roadway.
An investigation into the accident has revealed that a total of four individuals were affected by the incident. Among them, three suffered varying degrees of injuries, while sadly, the driver of the tow truck lost their life.
The statement also clarified that only two vehicles were involved in the accident, namely the truck and the FRSC Tow Truck.
