Fuel scarcity hits Lagos, motorists groan
Scarcity of Premium Motor Spirit, otherwise known as petrol has hit Lagos State, the nationa’s commercial hub.
Long queues were seen at major gas stations across the state on Tuesday, thereby triggering angry reactions from motorists.
The development is coming three weeks after scarcity of the product hit the nation’s capital, Abuja.
Residents of the FCT have had difficulty commuting due to fuel scarcity as commuters pay twice what they used to pay to get to work.
In Lagos residents on Monday, October 24, long queues have been spotted in fuel stations all over town, as fuel scarcity takes a toll on commuters.
The queues appear to have gotten worse in various parts of Lagos on Tuesday spreading from Lekki, Lagos Island to mainland Lagos, including the commercial capital of Ikeja.
