FUHSO begins issuance of promotion letters to staff

The Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo (FUHSO) has commenced the issuance of promotion letters to both academic and non-academic staff.

The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Stephen Abah, FWACP, congratulated the promoted staff and urged them to remain dedicated to advancing the university.

Speaking on the development, James Onogwu, MNIPR, Head of Information, Publications, and Public Relations at FUHSO, described the exercise as a motivational milestone and expressed gratitude to the pioneer Vice-Chancellor, Professor Innocent Ujah, mni, OON, NPOM, for initiating the Appointments and Promotions Committee (A&PC) Senior Staff process. He also commended Professor Abah and the university management for their support.

Staff members expressed joy over their promotions, with Judith Ada Innocent from the Establishment Unit stating she felt honored and excited, while another staff member, promoted from Administrative Officer II to Administrative Officer I, pledged to work harder for the institution’s growth.

The promotion letters were issued based on merit, reinforcing FUHSO’s commitment to excellence and staff motivation.
