Fulani herdsman kills his younger brother in Jigawa

A Fulani herdsman identified as Abdu Musa has killed his younger brother in Wuro Jugga community, Guri Local Government Area, Jigawa State.

The State’s Police PRO, Abdu Jinjiri confirmed the incident on Tuesday, December 1.

He said the incident occurred when the two brothers engaged in a quarrel, which led to a physical combat.

The Police PRO revealed that the suspect used a stick and knife to kill his brother, Amadu Musa and ran away.

According to the PRO’s narration, the police in Guri LGA received a distress call from Wuro Jugga Fulani community that a certain Abdu Musa engaged in a fight with his younger brother for an unknown reason which led to his death.

Jinjiri said security operatives rushed to the scene and found the corpse of the younger brother in a pool of his blood.

He added that efforts were on to track the fleeing suspect as the case is still under investigation.
