Suspected Fulani herdsmen have allegedly attacked commuters in Ogun State,
The victims said the development has confirmed reports that criminal herdsmen are lurking in Southwest forests.
One of the victims of Fulani Herdsmen attack, Mrs Morenikeji Salami was attacked and left for dead last week at Idofe Road in Ijebu northeast, Ogun State.
Recounting Mrs Salami’s ordeal, her daughter said Mrs Salami was ambushed on her way to her site at Idofe just after she turned towards the Quarry.
The Fulanis, numbering about 8, blocked her car with their cattle and shot her tires from behind. Helpless, Mrs Salami covered her face with her hands and plead for her life.
The Fulanis shot her left hand which made her lose her fingers then proceeded to shoot at her mouth. Presuming her dead, her assailants left her for dead in the pool of her own blood Eon intelligence reports.
