Some ministers and lawmakers were among those present at the signing of the 2023 appropriation bill of N21.83 trillion into law by President Muhammadu Buhari.
IDOMA VOICE earlier reported that the Nigerian leader signed the 2023 budget at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Tuesday.
Some of the personalities present at the signing are Senate President Ahmad Lawan; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha; and Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari.
Others are the Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmad; Minister of State for Finance, Budget and National Planning, Clem Agba; Chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance, Solomon Adeola; Chairman of the House Committee on Finance, James Faleke; and Director General of the Budget Office, Ben Akabueze.
Also present at the event are Senator Jibril Isah, Hon. Abdullahi Seidu, and the Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, among others.
