Nigerian singer Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has praised Nollywood actress Funke Akindele for her remarkable contribution to the entertainment industry.
Describing her as one of the most hardworking entertainers he has encountered, Falz shared his admiration during an interview with Chude Jideonwo.
Falz reflected on his journey with Akindele, starting with their collaboration in the hit sitcom Jenifa’s Diary and continuing with their upcoming project, Everybody Loves Jenifa. He recalled that Akindele initially reached out to him, marking the beginning of their professional relationship.
“I remember Funke Akindele—big shout out to her, by the way—she reached out to me, maybe through Instagram or something, saying she had seen some of my videos and was working on a project. At that time, Jenifa’s Diary didn’t exist yet,” Falz recounted.
He went on to praise Akindele’s exceptional work ethic, noting that he has never encountered any other entertainer in Nigeria who works as tirelessly as she does. Her dedication and relentless efforts, Falz emphasized, make her stand out in the industry.
