Furious students allegedly set secondary school Principal’s office ablaze in Idoma community

A group of yet to be identified students of Adoka Community Secondary school Otukpo have allegedly burnt parts of the school.

Mr. Ngbede Valentine, a post reveal that “on Monday 16th November, 2020 night at about the hour of 10:00PM some group of youths suspected to be stubborn students of Adoka Community Secondary school in Otukpo Local Government in Benue State who numbers about 5 went secretly into the school compound from the back side to defile security apprehension.

“After getting the secrete asses to the school compound at that odd hour, they broke one of the back windows to the school principal’s office and set the office on fire using petrol as an enhancer to hasten up the razing of the office with the intention of burning down the entire administrative block of the school.

“It took the timely and courageous intervention of the Dean of Studies of the school, Pastor Sunday Inalegwu, the school security personnel and some other able bodied youths from the community that helped to prevent the other blocks attached to the principal’s office from being engolfed in the inferno.” He said.
