G12 reacts as beneficiary of empowerment programme stabs man to death in Otukpo, flees

G12 Foundation has condemned the action of one of its empowerment programme beneficiaries who allegedly stabbed a young man to death in Otukpo.

The suspect identified as Samuel committed the act at a popular joint around Ela Market.

The foundation, therefore, called on the relevant security agencies to go after the suspect and bring him to book.

A statement from the group reads:

“The attention of the staff and management of G12 Foundation Club has been drawn to the news making the rounds about a certain beneficiary of our empowerment gesture who is reportedly involved in stabbing a man to death.

“As a humanitarian and philanthropic organization, our aim is to add meaning to the lives of the less previledged, downtrodden and unemployed youths.

“We condemn the act in totality and will assist the law enforcement agencies in any way possible to secure the arrest and prosecution of the culprit.”
