…sets to empower the ex-convicts.
The Founder and Chief Executive of G12 Foundation Club, Hon. Joseph Oche Godwin has successfully secured the release of 6 inmates from the Otukpo Correctional Center (Prison).
Hon. Oche who was representated by members of his Foundation led by Hon. Alice Albert revealed plans by the organization to further rehabilitate and empower the ex-convicts.
According to the G12 team: “The inmates we’re setting free today are just few out of the many who got sentenced because they couldn’t pay their fine at the law court.
“We have concluded plans to empower them immediately so that they don’t return to whatever way that landed them in prison.
“We also want the general public to know that these people we have brought out of jail today are those with civil cases and not criminal ones who couldn’t afford to hire a lawyer. We did our findings thoroughly through our lawyers before arriving at this point.” they said.
