Gana: Benue people react as Terwase Akwaza surrenders

Some residents of Benue State have faulted the way some leaders from the state welcome hitherto wanted criminal, Terwase Akwaza, after causing so much pains and dented the image of the state.

Many of them wondered why Gana, the wanted criminal was given a heroic welcome when he appeared at a meeting in Kastina-Ala on Tuesday.

According to them, Gana should have been thrown into a cell before anything, saying a dangerous terrorist of his nature must not be treated with kids’ gloves.

Here as some comments gathered by IDOMA VOICE from special media.

Even if this is a play, I think it will be good for the Tiv land to pray God’s intervention over this soul.

I see these people want to start recruiting thugs for 2023 already. I wanted man with a huge bounty on his head returns and is celebrated…all atrocities waved. Insanity.

Preserve and protect the bad guy in anyway humanly possible for a bad day.

Also, do all you can to make sure he doesn’t do badness to anybody in the state, even his children.

Thank you.

I didn’t read in your story how Ghana surrenderd. All I read was just a terse mention of the fact that he has surrendered. Did he do so by a statement or by surrendering his weapons or by turning himself to the police etc? I am curious.
