In a prestigious investiture ceremony held at Aso Villa in Abuja, the President-elect of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was conferred with the Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (GCFR), the highest honour in the country.
The event took place on Thursday, where dignitaries from various sectors of society gathered to witness this momentous occasion.
Alongside Tinubu, the Vice President-elect, Kashim Settima, was also decorated with the Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON), recognizing his significant contributions and service to the nation.
The investiture ceremony marked a significant milestone in Tinubu’s political career, as he prepares to be sworn in as the next President of Nigeria on Monday, May 29th.
