Wife of Taraba Governor, Her Excellency, Barr. Anna Ishaku, Rt. Hon. George Alli, the Chairman of Otukpo LGC, Mrs.Lydia Ochi and others, were on Sunday December 1st, 2019, honoured with awards of recognition, for Alli, as the “MOST OUTSTANDING LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN IN BENUE STATE”, 2019: at a ceremony held in Sheraton Hotels, Abuja.
According to the Organisers, White Image Publications, Publishers of the Abuja based Profile Magazine, “Hon. George Alli has proven to be a dutiful, competent, responsible leader with an outstanding records of performance. He is a worthy leader and a model for others to emulate.” Nigerian Television Authority ace broadcaster, Lydia Odije Ochi.
Alli, while thanking the organisers for the honouring hi, said, “I am grateful to God and to the good people of Otukpo who gave me the opportunity to serve them. This is another motivation for me to do more for my people. Any Local government chairman who want to work will work”.
Those presents at the ceremony includes: Taraba State First Lady, Mrs Darius Ishaku; Innocent Adoga; Eka A’adu Dickson Shiloh; Chief Uko Onah; former NUIS national president; Clement Arubi; Arubi Emmanuel Ogbaji: Captains of industries were on hand to witness the occasion at Sheraton Hotels & Towers, Abuja.
