These are the words of Rt. Hon.
George Alli, Caretaker Chairman of Otukpo Local Government Council, while presenting a patrol vehicle to Benue State Vigilante Service, Otukpo Command, on behalf of Benue State Government in Otukpo, on Friday, 27th September, 2019.
The state government have donated the vehicle to the vigilante group in addition to the patrol truck Alli donated to another security outfit, the Homeland Defense.
The Chairman also urged all the groups to work with the relevant security agencies. “Do not take the laws into your hands, you must work with the Police and other security agencies to ensure that our objectives of a peaceful society is sustained,” Alli said.
