The immediate past Chairman of Otukpo Local Government Council, Rt. Hon. George Alli was yesterday honoured with a meritorious award by Mindset Series.
Rt. Hon. George Alli received the award in recognition for the uncommon performance he recorded while in office as Otukpo Council Chairman.
While receiving the award, he expressed his appreciation to the organizers for finding him worthy for the honour adding that the award will spur him to do more if given the opportunity to serve in any capacity.
Rt. Hon. George Alli added that, while in office as council chairman, he ran Otukpo Local Government like his personal business hence the performance recorded under his watch.
There were several awardees at the event which include: Major General Apem, Prof. Terlumun Swende, Hon. Dickson Tarkighir and host of others.
