George Alli: Otukpo LG boss bags excellence award, promises to do more

The caretaker chairman Otukpo Local Government Hon. George Alli has bagged an award of Excellence from WAZOBIA WAKA ABOUT.

According the group, the award was in recognition of his performance especially in infrastructure in his Local Government at a time the council experience financial challenges owing to the short fall from the federation account.

Responding shortly after the presentation, Hon Ali expressed joy that a vibrant media House like WAZOBIA to quietly monitor his little efforts and today decided to come down to Benue from Abuja to reward him for his efforts.

The former House of Assembly member for Otukpo further described the award as another challenge for him to do more within the next six months he will be piloting the council affairs.

According to him leadership is like his personal business and therefore he always take his time to succeed when given a responsibility. “we do our personal business’s to succeed that’s why whenever I’m in Government I take it as my personal business with the airm to succeed ” Ali Concluded.

Earlier Mr Zomo who is the leader of the WAZOBIA team while presenting the certificate of encouragement to Hon Ali said they were in Benue to encourage him to do more for his people.

According to him, the reward for hardwork was in heaven stressing that the award was just a way to encourage him.
