George Alli partners Designated Contractors to keep Otukpo clean (Photos)

The Caretaker Chairman of Otukpo Local Government Area Council, Rt. Hon. George Alli has concluded partnership procedures with Designated Contractors, a waste management company to keep Otukpo clean.

Hon. George in a statement today, Saturday 9th November, 2019 said the development is part of his promise to keep Otukpo local govt. clean and secured.

According to him: “We want to give our society a facelift by ensuring that residents of Otukpo clean their environments and dispose their waste properly.

“We’ll set up a mobile court to prosecute offenders in order ensure strict compliance and i want to make it clear that my administration is not interested in making profit from Designated Contractors, we want the company to used what ever they are supposed to remit to the council to keep our environment clean.

“I also want to appeal Designated Contractors to please minimize their charges. We want a situation where our people can easily afford to pay for the services rendered effortlessly.” He added.

Lady Kate Ogenyi, the officer in charge of the waste management company thanked Hon. Alli as she urged residents Otukpo residents to try and register with DC while promising to make sure the aim of this initiative is achieved.
