George Alli places mother of triplets on monthly allowance  

The Executive Chairman of Otukpo Local Government Council, Rt. Hon. George Alli has once again demonstrated his humanity by making cash donation to a mother of newly born triplet, Mrs. Gloria Audu, and placed her on monthly allowance at the local government.

Hon. Alli upon hearing about the woman’s delivery and the fact that her husband is ill, was moved with compassion and sent for the woman to be brought to him. Mrs. Audu, from Aiya in Adoka district of Otukpo Local Government was accompained by the Councilor representing Adoka-Ehaje in the Otukpo Legislative Assembly, Hon. Daniel Obiabo.

Upon her arrival, she was received by Hon. Alli who gave her undisclosed sum while encouraging her to have faith in God. The Chairman to her that God will never let her and her children to be stranded. The former state Lawmaker then told the woman to go and open an account. If she open the account as instructed, she will be getting monthly allowance, paid directly into her account.

The Chairman said, “As a family man and father I know what it takes to raise child. Then for a poor farming family to raise three at the same time. They need to be encouraed and I believe no amount is too small or too big to assist them with.

The mother of the triplets, Mrs. Gloria Audu was shocked by the gesture couldn’t say much. She thanked the council chairman for his kindness and prayed for God to guide and protect him throughout his tenure. She appealed to other well-meaning Nigerians to come to her aid.

The woman’s husband, Mr. Audu Omegida was could not come, due to ill health.
