The Executive Chairman of Otukpo LG, Rt. Hon. George Alli, has praised the Federal Government’s Survival Funds Scheme, the ECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY PLAN (ESP) FOR MSMEs (Survival Funds) as some transporters, including motorcycle riders (Okada) received alerts of #30,000.00 Naira.
The Otukpo LG Council Chairman, on Thursday, said he received several confirmatory text messages and calls to his phone by some of the beneficiaries of the scheme. “Let me use this opportunity to thank the Federal Government of Nigeria. I can confirm to you that some of our brothers in the transportation sector, including Okada (motorcycle operators) called and sent me SMS that they have gotten alert of 30,000,00 Naira from the Federal Government, thanking Otukpo LG, for helping to facilitate their registration”, Alli said.
The Former Lawmaker assured others who registered for the scheme, but are yet to receive same benefits, to be patient and keep faith: that in no distant time they will also receive theirs.
