The popular Bodija market in Ibadan, Oyo State capital on Monday morning went up in flames.
Property and goods worth millions were said to have been lost to the inferno.
Many shops were said to have been affected.
One of the affected traders, who confirmed the development, said she lost more than N5m to the inferno.
