By Emmy Joe

Popular Nigerian gospel music minister, Owie Abutu, has bagged a doctorate degree in humanities from the Int’l Institute of Pastoral Education and Chaplaincy (IIPEC).

IIPEC Chaplaincy is a non-govermental humanitarian services organizations that moves from one place to another preaching Jesus, christain counselling and reaching out to the less privileged and other public and humanitarian services..

This follows his contributions to the growth of the Arts (Music) and Communal Worship in Africa and the world at large.

Reacting to the development, one of his colleagues, Oche Jonkings II, congratulated the Pages of my Heart crooner for the feat.

He wrote on Facebook thus “Congratulations my dear brother on your award of Doctorate degree in Humanities (ICA and IIPEC USA) for your literature contributions to the growth of the Arts (Music) and Communal Worship.”

He further called on his followers to help him celebrate Dr Owie Abutu, saying “this is just the beginning, Hallelujah.”
