Gospel singer Mercy Chinwo, husband welcomes first child

Mercy Chinwo, the renowned gospel singer, and her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, joyfully welcomed their first child on a recent Friday. Mercy shared the exciting news through an Instagram post, revealing her baby bump in a music video featuring her husband. Expressing gratitude to God for this precious addition to their family.

She wrote, “Lord, we are grateful. We approach your throne with heartfelt songs of praise and thanksgiving. [You] filled our hearts with joy, our lips with testimonies, and our home with celebration. Indeed, you do this one.” While celebrating the birth of their child, the couple has not disclosed the baby’s gender or name. Mercy Chinwo and Blessed Uzochikwa got married in July 2022.
