Gov Ortom celebrates 60th birthday in church (Photos)

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, accompanied by his amiable wife, Dr Mrs Eunice Erdoo Ortom and other family members, commenced his 60th birthday anniversary activities Friday morning with a Church Service at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Gboko Road, Makurdi.

Benue State Deputy Governor, Engineer Benson Abounu, Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Titus Uba, Secretary to the Benue State Government, Professor Anthony Ijohor and State Head of Service, Mrs Veronica Onyeke are part of the Church Service.

Commissioners, Special Advisers, heads of government agencies as well as other top government functionaries are also part of the event.

The Governor is expected to meet with the widows, orphans and disabled as part of activities marking his Diamond age which according to an earlier statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Terver Akase will be held low key.
