Gov. Ortom conferred with Ambassador for tax

The Executive Governor of Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom was today conferred with AMBASSADOR FOR TAX by the Benue Internal Revenue Service (BIRS).

The induction which was conducted by the Executive Chairman BIRS, Mr. Andrew Ayabam, held during the governor’s visit to the new BIRS inductees who have been undergoing induction and documentation at Precious Events Centre, Makurdi.

The Governor used the opportunity to reiterate his commitment to judicious use of taxes into people oriented projects adding that he was confident of the performance of the new BIRS under Mr. Andrew Ayabam.

Meanwhile he charged the new recruits to be diligent and transparent in carrying out their duties.
