Gov. Ortom frowns at delayed salaries

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom expresses displeasure over the delay in payment of the July 2019 salaries of workers.

Consequently, the Governor directs the office of Head of Service and the affected banks to speedily resolve the issues causing the delay and commence salary payment tomorrow, being Friday 9th August, 2019.

The Governor reemphasizes his directive to Ministries, Departments and Agencies, MDAs of government to ensure that salary payment vouchers are ready before or on the 20th of every month.

He restates the commitment of his administration to ensuring workers’ welfare and overall development of the state.
