Gov Ortom lauds Vera Aluma for her contribution to development of Benue

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom commends the Founder of House of Mercy International, Proprietress, Heritage Academy and the MD/CEO of Heritage Resorts and Gardens, Evangelist Veronica Enewa Aluma for her immense contribution to the development of Benue State.
Ortom gave this commendation today, Thursday, 10th March, 2022 during the official commissioning of Heritage Resorts and Garden behind House of Mercy International North Bank, Makurdi.
Gov Ortom, represented by his Honourable Commissioner for Water Resources and Environment, Dr-Godwin Emmanuel Oyiwona, thanked Enewa for her enormous investments that have provided employments to several youths and have improved quality of lives in the state.
“I wish to commend you on your bold initiative and investment in hospitality industry by provision of this recreational centre in Makurdi which is in tandem with the development agenda of my administration, the garden will no doubt provide more job opportunities to our teeming youth for improved income, quality of life and boost socio-economic development of the state”, Ortom reechoed.
He assured investors of sustained commitment of his administration through provision of enabling environment for businesses to thrive in the state, urging Benue people to patronize the centre.
Earlier in her welcome address, the MD/CEO of the centre, Evangelist Veronica Enewa thanked God for making the commissioning of the centre a reality.
She said her main aim of establishing the resorts was to provide a very serene relaxation and recreational centre in a nature friendly environment that stimulates rejuvenation and creativity in an area of Makurdi(North Bank) where most people think nothing good can come out of it.
Evangelist Enewa appreciated Gov Ortom for his support and the good work he is doing for the people of the state, wishing him God’s blessings and protection.
She also thanked other invited guests who attended the occasion despite their tight schedules, assuring the public of quality services.
Highlights of the occasion include; the cutting of the take which attracted wild jubilation and inspection of all the sections of the edifice.
